At the Westin Excelsior Hotel in Florence there was the “Masters of Elegance” event, curated by the DeGorsi agency, an evening dedicated to luxury and elegance, where Drago Spa was the guest of honor , together with some illustrious names of the World and Italian tailoring, Lorenzo Cifonelli, Sciamat (Valentino and Nicola Ricci) and Chiaia tailoring of Naples. Also present at the event were prominent names in luxury publishing, including Mr. Wei Koh, publisher of The Rake, Franz Botrè soul of Arbiter, Hugo Jacomet writer and blogger, Scott Schuman founder of the Sartorialist and other distinguished names.
An evening focused on men’s fashion, launched with a round table where Mario Dell’Oglio ( CEO of Best Shops, ex President of Camera Italiana Buyer Moda) Franz Botrè (Arbiter) and Alessandro Botta (Drago Spa) talked about the importance of eco-sustainability in the fashion industry. At the end of the first part of the evening, a prize was awarded to Drago Lanificio in Biella for the environmental commitment.
The second part of the event focused on tailoring and elegance. The Cifonelli maison, represented by maestro Lorenzo Cifonelli, presented the exclusive and limited blazer collection (only 15 pieces) made with a special edition of Rugby Flannel by Drago Spa specifically for the famous French tailor. The presented blazer has already been ordered by important personalities i.e. head of McDonald’s Australia, a famous US speleologist, a well-known banker in the city of London etc
At the end of the evening, where more than 200 guests took part, the editors Wei Koh (The Rake), Franz Botre (Arbiter), Matt Hranek (WM Brown) and Hugo Jacomet, took part at Cognac talks moderated by Alex Dordevic of DeGorsi, where they discussed the importance of publishing in the clothing world, elegance and luxury.
